About Company:
Founded by Zizhu High-tech Park, Shanghai Shenghua Zizhu Bilingual School is a nine-year-through private school for primary and secondary education with around 1500 pupils and 185 staff faculties. The School is dedicated to provide diverse courses and development pathways, and now is a member of the East China Normal University Educational Organization and the research and practice center of the Shanghai Academy of Educational Sciences for private compulsory education. Current two campuses: Zifenglu Campus and Tanjiatang Campus will be relocated to the Lanxianghu Lake Private Basic Education Park in 2025.

Responsibilities
1.Instruction Delivery
Plan and implement comprehensive English lessons that cover grammar, vocabulary, reading comprehension, writing, speaking, and listening skills.
Use a variety of teaching methods and materials, such as textbooks, multimedia resources, real-life examples, and interactive activities, to meet the diverse learning needs of students.
Conduct regular classes following a set curriculum schedule, ensuring that each lesson has clear objectives and outcomes.
2.Student Assessment
Design and administer assessments, including tests, quizzes, assignments, and oral presentations, to evaluate students' progress and understanding of the English language.
Provide timely and constructive feedback to students on their performance, highlighting areas of strength and areas that need improvement.
Keep accurate records of students' grades and progress reports, and communicate with parents or guardians as needed.
3.Classroom Management
Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and respect for diversity.
Manage student behavior effectively, setting clear rules and expectations and addressing any disciplinary issues promptly and fairly.
Organize the classroom layout and resources to facilitate learning and ensure a safe and comfortable learning space.
4.Curriculum Development
Collaborate with other English teachers and curriculum specialists to develop and update the English curriculum to ensure its relevance and alignment with educational standards.
Incorporate new teaching techniques and technologies into the curriculum to enhance the learning experience.
Adapt the curriculum to meet the specific needs of different grade levels and student abilities.
5.Extra-curricular Support
Organize and participate in English-related extra-curricular activities, such as English clubs, debates, drama productions, and language competitions, to provide students with additional opportunities to practice and improve their English skills.
Encourage students to engage in self-directed learning outside of the classroom, recommending relevant books, websites, and language learning apps.
6.Professional Development
Stay updated on the latest trends and research in English language teaching by attending professional development workshops, seminars, and conferences.

Qualifications
1.Educational Background
A bachelor's degree or higher in English, Education (with an English specialization), or a related field is required.
A teaching certification or license in English education is preferred.
2.Language Proficiency
Native or near-native English proficiency in speaking, writing, and listening is essential.
A good understanding of English grammar and vocabulary, as well as different English accents and dialects.
3.Teaching Experience
Prior teaching experience in English, preferably in a school or educational institution setting, is an advantage.
