Job Responsibilities

• Creates a classroom that is rigorous, joyful, and engaging.
• Uses data to drive instruction by regularly analyzing data, studying student work, and implementing the highest leverage instructional strategies to maximize student achievement.
• Participates in collaborative curriculum development, grade-level activities, and school-wide functions.
• Builds strong relationships with parents and students, driving investment in school culture and academics.
• Implements behavioral interventions for students to increase learning time and decrease time spent out of the classroom
• Regularly submits lesson plans to ensure key academic student data and the highest leverage instructional practices are included to maximize student achievement.

Requirements

• Native language English teacher, bachelor degree or above.
• Homeroom teacher experience or background preferred.
• Mastery of and enthusiasm for relevant academic subjects.
• At least 2 years working experience as a teacher. A background in education and a demonstrated passion for working with k-6 students and prior experience working at international schools.
• Ability and desire to implement feedback from school leaders and colleagues to become a more effective educator in service to our students.
